This gorgeous West-Hills kitchen has undergone a major glow up! We saw the potential in this space, as the original cabinets were in very good condition and the layout was ideal. So instead of ripping everything out and starting over, we opted to creatively renovate this kitchen and transform it into a modern and gorgeous space that reflects the owner's style.

 

The surfaces were changed to a beautiful white quartz with bluish grey veining. This material was carried through from the counter tops to the backsplash, and continued into the waterfall feature on both sides of the island. The cabinets were professionally treated and painted a dark, rich color. The lighting was changed to a very modern suspension. We did decide to remove one of the cabinet structures in between the island and the dining room, and replaced it with a custom designed built-in with integrated lighting, to match the home's entry way built-in and the living room fireplace built-in that we also designed. This new built in is bright and lighter feeling and defines the bar area vs the kitchen area, making the kitchen less imposing than it was before.
